Body-Worn Cameras Meet the Cloud: What 3dEYE's Latest Updates Mean for Your Sites

For a lot of teams, body-worn camera footage lives in its own world: a separate system, a docking station, and someone manually downloading clips after a shift. 3dEYE's August 2026 platform update changes that.

Body-worn cameras, now in the cloud

3dEYE has partnered with IONODES on a plug-and-play integration for body-worn cameras. Footage from IONODES body cameras now streams into the same 3dEYE platform as your fixed and mobile cameras. There's no separate system and no manual download, and the video is encrypted and off-site the moment it's captured.

For patrol and response teams, that means worn and mounted video live side by side, using the same review, search and reporting tools operators already use. When something happens on a site, you're not jumping between platforms to piece together what each camera saw.

More cameras that connect in minutes

3dEYE also expanded its push-module support, which lets a camera stream straight to the cloud with no port forwarding, no VPN and no device in between, encrypted the whole way:

  • Intelbras VIP 5440 FC+ IA — a Full Color camera with onboard AI for detection and event classification. Paired with 3dEYE's cloud AI, it gives you edge and cloud analytics working together, so you can use whichever fits each site.

  • Sunell (SN-M3207U-B4-A-23)

  • Uniview (IPC3618SR-ADF28KM-H, PKC2641, IPC2A14LP-ADF40KC-4G-US)

Connect a supported camera and it streams straight to the cloud with no gateway and no manual setup. For remote and hard-to-reach sites, fewer moving parts means faster deployments and fewer things to break.

Easier API key management

For anyone running integrations, 3dEYE redesigned its API Key Management page to show each key's status, how much it's being used and how much quota is left, all in one view.
